In Austria, Germany, France, Italy and Liechtenstein ID is required at the entrance – the original. Phone photos, copies and driving licences are refused.

Minimum age
18 in Switzerland, Austria, France, Italy and Liechtenstein. In Germany, Baden-Württemberg and Bavaria require 21 – so in Konstanz, Baden-Baden and Lindau.
Customs & cash
Cash from CHF/EUR 10,000 must be declared when crossing the border, in both directions. Liechtenstein and Campione d'Italia belong to the Swiss customs territory – no checks there.
Vignette & tolls
Austria: motorway vignette mandatory, even for the short A14 to Bregenz; main road from Höchst without. Germany: no tolls. France: Divonne and Annemasse reachable without motorway. Campione: no tolls.
Driving home & alcohol
0.5 per mille in Switzerland, Austria, Germany, France and Italy; 0.1 for new drivers in Switzerland. If you want to drink, take rail, boat or taxi – easy for Bregenz, Konstanz, Annemasse and Évian.
Currency
Francs are accepted in Liechtenstein and in Campione d'Italia. In Germany only euros. Austria and France: euros, CHF exchange at the cashier not everywhere.
Dress code
Slots: neat casual is enough everywhere. Table games: jacket mandatory in Baden-Baden, requested in Konstanz (rental €10), smart casual in Bregenz, 'tenue correcte' in France.
Winnings & tax
Winnings from foreign casinos are taxable income in Switzerland – winnings from Swiss casinos are not. Keep receipts; ask the cantonal tax administration if in doubt.
Exclusion
A Swiss exclusion order applies only in Swiss casinos. Germany has OASIS, France the 'interdiction volontaire de jeux', Austria and Liechtenstein their own systems. Anyone excluded should not go.
Opening hours
Table games open later than slots: Bregenz 3 pm, Lindau 4 pm, Divonne 8 pm. On 24 December many houses are closed. The live status shows both times.
